Custom Header

Make your theme unique by uploading your own custom header. Wire works best with custom header images that are 1440 pixels wide and at least 610 pixels high.

Featured Images

Wire supports featured images on pages and blog posts, and will display this image above the title area, as well as above blog posts in the main blog page.

To set a featured image, look for the Featured Image tab in the settings to the left of the WordPress.com text editor, and follow the steps there to upload and set your image.

Custom Header

Setting custom header image

Make your theme unique by uploading your own custom header. Launch the Customizer and click on the Header Image tab on the left to set a custom header for your site.

Note: Wire works best with custom header images that are 1440 pixels wide and at least 610 pixels high.

Theme Options

You can set up social media icons in the menu bar of your site, by launching the Customizer and clicking on the Theme Options tab on the left. Add the URLs to your social media pages, and an icon will automatically be displayed to the right of the menu.

You can also select the “Hide site title/tagline and display large header image” to remove the site title and tagline, which places all the focus on your header image.
