A sharp theme with subtle grid lines and sun-splashed accents, Sunspot is a great all-purpose blogging canvas, especially for those who prefer a dark color scheme. It also features a layout that adapts gracefully to fit smaller screens, ensuring that your readers can enjoy your content on a variety of devices.
Front Page Layout Options
How would you like to display the posts on your front page? You can stick with the traditional one column layout, which displays your posts one after the other, with full post content. Or you can choose a two-column display, which arranges your posts into a grid-like structure with post excerpts and Featured Image thumbnails.
Head over to Appearance → Theme Options in the wp-admin dashboard to make a selection for your front page layout.
The Sunspot theme offers two optional widget areas, one in the left column and one in the right column. To activate widgets in either area, visit Customize → Widgets.
