Change Up Your Design

By taking advantage of the different options at Appearance → Theme Options (to change the theme highlight color), Customize → Colors & Background (to add a Custom Background), and at Customize → Header (to add a Custom Header Image just above the content), you can easily make Eight look like it’s wearing your own custom theme.

Change Up Your Design

You can easily change your theme’s highlight color by visiting your WP Admin dashboard and going to Appearance → Theme Options. Once there, you’ll be able to select a unique color. Click Save & Publish to save your changes when you’re done.

Custom Header Image

Eight allows you to add a Custom Header Image. Visit your Customizer at Customize → Header to set it. Recommended dimensions for your header image are 538×268 pixels.

Custom Background Image
