Funki is a very versatile premium theme, offering many customizations and flexibility. It’s a funky theme with artsy flare. It has a responsive structure and offers multiple layouts. It also comes with many background choices, including different motifs and patterns, and a primary color chooser. It has a featured section for sticky posts, supports custom menus, featured images, background image, and optional footer widget areas. Funk up your site with Funki!
Widgets and Layouts
The theme offers four different and responsive layouts. From one column to three columns, all based on where you drag your widgets so you don’t have to set any special options, it just works. On top of that, all layouts are flexible so they adapt to smaller screens.
The two primary sidebars are labeled Right and Left, respectively. To change the layout put your widgets on the sidebar you wish to show. If no widgets are found, you will get a one column layout.
Funki comes with different background patterns and motifs to chose from. You can also upload your own background image, or choose a solid color. If you want to change the background color but keep the patterns you can change the “Primary Color” on Appearance → Theme Options.
Note: You can get to the WP Admin dashboard by adding
/wp-adminto the end of your site’s url (e.g.: example.wordpress.com/wp-admin)
Funki also has a dynamic featured post area which is really easy to use: just add big featured images —at least 990 in width and 420 in height— to your sticky posts and you are good to go. Learn more about how to add a featured image.
Upload your own header image by going to Customize → Header Image. For best results, upload an image with the following dimensions: 990 × 155 pixels.
Funki provides you with three optional footer widget areas. You can also set a primary color which is used for links and other visual elements. It comes with two areas for Custom Menus, one below the site title, the other on the footer.
