The Yoko theme is simple, elegant, and beautiful. A responsive layout optimizes the theme for mobile devices. To make your blog posts more interesting you can use different kinds of post formats like gallery, image, video, aside, link or quotes. And to customize the theme, choose your own background, link color, and header image.
Custom Background, Header, and Link Color
Want to make Yoko the perfect theme for you? Replace the default background with your own custom background or a flexible-width custom header. You can even change the link color from Appearance → Theme Options.
Featured Image Headers
Yoko also supports Featured Image Headers — if you set a Featured Image on a post that is greater than
1102 pixels wide and
350 pixels tall, it will display on single posts, replacing the custom header.
Yoko supports two custom menu in the header. One above the header image and the other just below. The theme will fall back to display your pages if the Primary Navigation menu is not configured and saved. You also have the option of adding a menu to the sidebar using a Custom Menu widget.
Yoko is widget-tastic. Widget-licious? Maybe. It has two widget areas for your widgets giving you a three-column or two-column theme — with your content always displayed promininently — depending on your choice.
Yoko is designed with responsive design in mind. That means, it provides a tailored layout depending on the device you are using. This makes your blog look good not only on desktop browsers, but also on devices with smaller screens, such as the iPad and iPhone.
