Structure

If you’re looking for an elegant blog theme that can make your site look like a magazine, Structure might just be it.

Structure comes loaded with options that can help fill out its minimalist look. Take note of the featured post area in the screenshot above and in the demo site. That’s the area with the large post title just below the header and the large Featured Image. We’ll be talking about it below.

The first thing to take note of in the theme options is the Featured Category. By selecting one of your blog categories here you can restrict what gets featured in your featured post area. If you choose the “fashion” category, for example, only the latest post from that category will appear at the top of the home page. It’s a great way to take a little more control over the home page of your site. The image that appears there is up to you. You can select the image by choosing a Featured Image. We have some great information about Featured Images in our support documentation.

Please note: If the width of the Featured Image selected is less than 620 pixels, it will not appear in the Featured Posts area.

Rounding out the theme options are fields for entering your Twitter URL and Facebook URL–icons for each service will appear alongside the RSS icon in the header search bar–and a checkbox for an alternate color, dark color scheme.
