Sticky Posts

When you set a post to stick to the homepage of your blog, it will appear before all other posts. It will also be styled a bit differently as well. Instead of a white background, tan will be used. A dark blue border will also appear on the left.

Custom Header Image

Personalize your blog by uploading a custom header image. This image will appear at the very top of the theme and is sized at 1020×150 pixels. No header image will be displayed by default.

Custom Background Image

You can change the tan, sandy textured background by visiting the Appearance → Background screen. Choose from a solid color or upload an image.

Optional Sidebar

If you choose to add widgets to the sidebar in Appearance → Widgets they will be displayed in a right-hand sidebar. If you prefer a single-column design, you may leave the sidebar empty and no sidebar will be displayed.

Page Templates

Retro-fitted comes with two page templates: Archives and Bookmarks. The Archives template makes it easy to create a list of your posts by category as well as month. The Bookmarks template, when assigned to a page, will automatically create a listing of all of the links you have added in the Links screen.
